NYC-PAH is excited to be sponsoring the first ever pup and handler contingent in the Pride NYC March! We invite ALL pups, handlers, friends and supporters to come march with us!

Here's everything you need to know!

Pre-Pride March Brunch: When: 1 pm Sunday Where: Urban Space Vanderbilt (E 45th St and Vanderbilt), just north of Grand Central About the venue: It's a food court offering a wide variety of cuisine as well as a selection of beer

Pride March: Who: ALL pups, handlers, friends and supporters are invited to join us When: Between 2:30 and 3:30. Please note, you MUST arrive by 3:30 before they close off our block Where: Our staging area is 40th St between Park and Madison. (Look for the wagon with rainbow colored paw print balloons) . A reminder to all marchers, we will need to enter from the blocks east of 5th Ave as we will NOT be able to cross 5th Ave. And again you MUST be there no later than 3:30. After that, our formation block will be closed and they will not allow you to enter What to Bring: Wear comfortable walking shoes. It's a long march and we highly recommend you plan accordingly with sunscreen, water, and snacks. We will have a cooler with some water as well. A reminder that there will NOT be space in the wagon to store anyone's bags or personal belongings.

What (and what NOT to Wear):

NO plug tails NO frontal nudity We recommend comfortable clothes and walking shoes Female and male toplessness is fine as per NYC law and the Pride March organizers Based on previous years, jockstraps are generally allowed during the march, but NYC law states they are not legal and it is possible NYPD may enforce this Gear is very welcome, but OPTIONAL. Feel free to wear shorts and a tshirt if you'd like. Remember it will likely be a long hot day especially if you plan to wear rubber, latex, spandex etc What are we doing during the march? We will be marching with our banner. We will also be pulling a wagon with our speaker (yay music!) and water. We will need everyone to take turns and help with the banner and wagon unless you are phyiscally unable. Additionally we will have stickers to give out to spectators as we march. And of course we anticipate lots of fun, playful puppy antics as we march!

What Else Do I Need to Know?

It will likely be a couple hours after our formation time til we start marching. The march route is about 2.5 miles long and will end at Christopher St and Greenwich in the West Village. After the march, many will be going to NY Bondage Club or the Eagle. @djtatmatt has also invited us all to come party with him as he DJ's at Rockbar.

Please Note: We invite all pups, handlers, friends, and supporters to march with us regardless of group membership or affiliation. You are welcome to wear backpatches or tshirts from other groups however banners from other groups are not permitted.
