Just a little something I shared on Facebook...

Everyday I help out pups, talking to them, learning about their experiences, supporting them and guiding them. So many different personalities and so many different situations, yet most of them have one thing in common - Insecurity.

Let me just tell you something. Holding onto those thoughts that you are worth nothing, holding on to the thought you can never move forward, that you are not good enough or that you deserve to suffer is just the wrong attitude to have. You are a special person (pup), who was born for a reason. You have a place at this community and at any community. You are worth much more than you even realise, yet instead you hide away and waste your life away crying or feeling bad for yourself.

If you could just wake up and see there is good around you, that life can and will improve and you could just knock down them barriers that stand in your way, you could achieve anything your heart desires. No one stands in your way but yourself.

I am not perfect, I have my own faults going off and I let people make me feel bad sometimes, when I shouldn't. So I understand more than anyone what it's like to be insecure at times. Trust me though, you are wanted, you are loved, you are important and it will get better. The first thing you have to do is start to love and accept yourself, realise you are worthy and you deserve to be happy.

I truly believe that's the key to life - learning to be content with yourself and learning to find that something or someone that makes you happy.

Be yourself, it's all anyone wants from you. Show people who you are and what you are worth. Prove that to yourself too. You have a voice too, never forget that. Don't hide away forever, because happiness won't happen until you let it.
