I’m moving flats this year, though still going to the same uni the guys in my flat are moving different ways. Though I’ve found a place with other uni friends it got me thinking about kinky flat mates.

I’ve heard peoples stories about them and know a few set ups. It seems like a pretty fun idea, though logistically not sure how viable it is. Obviously this sounds like a couple (or however many) in a relationship sharing residence, though nice isn’t really what I’m implying with flat mates.

It’s more thinking about having a group of (hopefully) friends who are kinky, and being able to share that side of life with them. I’m sure people know what it is like to not be able to be very open with friends who are not part of this side of life and are jealous of those who are. Being able to come home from an event in latex and not have to sneak to your room, or having gear on while using the kitchen just because it’s fun sounds like a nice place to live.

Of course it has it’s own logistical problems, for one it is quite hard to draw lines in this area. Being in a closed relationship I wouldn’t want really anything more than friends, where as I understand there could be some out there who would want… something more. So finding people who fit your level could be hard, especially when they have to fit in with your “normal” life too, as I said I would hope they would be friends but having kink in common doesn’t mean you get along in everything else.

So I guess I’m just thinking it could be cool, playing games in gear, going out together or having flat wide kink fun of varying levels sounds nice. Just also contemplating those logistics… I’m a worrier :P
