Merry Christmas

From all of us at Puppy Pride, we wish you a very Merry Christmas. We hope yours is filled with cuddles and treats, friends and family, and all the things that make you stop and smile.

We'll still be here for most of the holiday period - working to improve the community, answer any questions, provide advice and support, and help more events establish themselves.

For now we'll leave you with a poem that was found, with the regular news below.

It’s the day before Christmas And all through the house The puppies are squeaking An old rubber mouse.

The wreath which had merrily Hung on the door Is scattered in pieces All over the floor.

The stockings that hung In a neat little row Now boast a hole in Each one of the toes.

The tree was subjected To bright-eyed whims, And now, although splendid, It’s missing some limbs.

I catch them and hold them. “Be good”, I insist. They lick me, then run off To see what they’ve missed.

And now as I watch them The thought comes to me, That their’s is the spirit That Christmas should be.

Should children and puppies Yet show us the way, And teach us the joy That should come with this day?

Could they bring the message That’s written above, And tell us that, most of all Christmas is love.

Competitions

Writing competitions are currently on hold but may resume in the new year.

The winter photography contest finishes on Friday 1st January, so there is still time left to upload your seasonal pet play pictures to the website!

Website Updates

User galleries have been improved. Icons to edit images are easier to see, and there is a new icon to set an image as your profile picture.

Events can now set a cover photo on the website.

Subscribe to a photo or blog to get emailed when someone comments on it! You are automatically subscribed to your own content.
